The New Hendricks Regional Health YMCA

A look at the new Hendricks Regional Health Facility

The Impact

A new YMCA on the west side of the metropolitan area will provide a positive environment for children and teens, offering a place for adults to begin and maintain healthy lifestyles, and satisfying community needs for swim lessons, youth sports and more.  Eighty-three percent of residents on the west side are currently underserved for wellness and youth programs. The YMCA can change that for the better!

The Facility

In partnership with Hendricks Regional Health Hospital and other community partners, the Y will be a centerpiece of the new Healthy Lifestyle Village. It will be a unique place where people can learn and improve their health and quality of life.

The new Hendricks Regional Health YMCA is a 100,000 square-foot facility (located at 301 Satori Parkway in Avon) that will serve residents of Hendricks County and western Marion County. With modern workout equipment, nutrition counseling and supportive staff, the Y will support lifelong health enthusiasts and first-time health seekers in pursuit of a healthier lifestyle.

Highlights include:

  • Indoor lap recreational pools
  • Gymnasium
  • 8,000 square-foot state-of-the-art Fitness Center
