Preschool Registration Now Open
Did you know that the Ransburg Y offers developmentally appropriate learning experiences for preschool-aged children? Our Preschool program, for ages 18 months - 5, focuses on a variety of learning activities designed to help children gain independence, build self-esteem, and learn the skills that will prepare them for kindergarten. Emphasis is on the Y's Four Core Values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Class days and times vary. For more information, call Alice Weber at 317-357-8441.
Focus on Banners: Ali Cook Fun for Kids Fund
Each month the Ransburg Y will be spotlighting one of our generous supporters who has been recognized at our branch through the Strong Kids Campaign banners. This month we focus on the Ali Cook Fun for Kids Fund banner. This banner was created in memory of Ali Cook, the neice of long time Ransburg YMCA board member, Doug Walker. Ali was killed in an automobile accident and donations were made in her memory to create this fund to help kids attend camp, take swim lessons and even learn the art of soccer. Recently Ali's step-father, Stephen Murray, passed away and we were reminded about how much Ali has meant to her family as he designated all memorial contributions to be given in Ali's name towards her banner.
We are honored to celebrate Ali's life by keeping her name and memory alive with this banner recognition.

Have you had your wellness appointment yet?
Did you know that you can meet with a Ransburg Y Wellness Coach to set goals, learn about the latest equipment, and to be held accountable to your wellness journey? Also, we offer free body fat and body mass index testing using a Fat Loss Monitor that will display the estimated value of body fat percentage by the Bioelectrical Impedance (BI) method and indicates the Body Mass Index (BMI) range with the BMI classification bar. For facility members only. Please stop by the Wellness Office or call Matt at 317-357-8441 to schedule an appointment.
Pool Gate Closing
Beginning Monday, August 9th the pool gate will be closed until 4pm, Monday thru Friday. You can enter the outdoor pool fromthe family locker rooms inside the building. Please let any staff member know if you need assitance. We will be more than happy to help you.
