Family Night: Rainbow Pizza Party
Join us this Friday March 9th for our Family Night Rainbow Pizza Party! Families will be creating their own pizzas, trying to use as many colors of vegetables as possible. We’ll also be participating in fun nutrition games and making healthy parfait deserts. This event is free to all Urban Mission families! Please call Kyra Davis at 317-306-0659 to RSVP.
Art Exploration
Youth in our Urban Mission Generation Y 21st CCLC After School programs at Lincoln and Guion Middle Schools are participating in “Art Exploration.” Students in this club meet twice a week to learn about different styles of art and make their own interpretations. Artwork created by our youth will be displayed at various family events this spring. Look for more details to come about celebrating our students’ artistic passions.
Indiana Black Expo Annual Scholarship Pageant
The Indianapolis Chapter of the Indiana Black Expo has an interest meeting for their annual scholarship pageant on Saturday March 24, 2012 at 6:00 pm at the IC-IBE office at the Julia Carson Government Center, 300 E. YES To Our Future! Youth Economic Leadership Summit
The Indianapolis Chapter of Jack and Jill of America Inc. is currently accepting applications from qualified high school and middle school students who have strong leadership potential to participate in a workshop designed to educate students on the importance of money management and building wealth.
