LIVESTRONG AT THE YMCA
NEXT CLASS: Jan 5 - Mar 24, Tue/Thu from 9:30 – 11 a.m.
Cancer is a life-changing disease that takes a tremendous physical and emotional toll on those affected. The Y and LIVESTRONG have joined together to create LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a research-based physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors achieve their holistic health goals.
Participants work with Y staff trained in supportive cancer care to safely achieve their goals such as building muscle mass and strength; increasing flexibility and endurance; and improving confidence and self-esteem. By focusing on the whole person and not the disease, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is helping people move beyond cancer in spirit, mind and body
Contact Mandy Witmer at 610-3758 or firstname.lastname@example.org with questions and to register for the next class.
COMMUNITY CARE CLUB

This is a family oriented group that meets twice a month to work on a craft that will be donated back to a local organization. Our mission is to create a love of volunteerism with children at an early age and teach them what it means to help others. Read more…
