The YMCA achieves its mission one person at a time. The greatest source of energy for the YMCA is our staff. Our staff contribute to the advancement of the YMCA’s vision by meeting the needs of the people in our communities. Guided daily by the core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility, our staff create an environment where everyone aspires to be their best.
We have some great opportunities for you to join our Y family that are listed below. Please contact us if you are interested! You can apply for these positions at indymca.org. Read more…

LIVESTRONG AT THE YMCA
Cancer is a life-changing disease that takes a tremendous physical and emotional toll on those affected. The Y and LIVESTRONG have joined together to create LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a research-based physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors achieve their holistic health goals.
Participants work with Y staff trained in supportive cancer care to safely achieve their goals such as building muscle mass and strength; increasing flexibility and endurance; and improving confidence and self-esteem. By focusing on the whole person and not the disease, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is helping people move beyond cancer in spirit, mind and body.
Contact Mandy Witmer for information on our next class at 610-3758 or email@example.com with questions and to register for the next class.
COMMUNITY CARE CLUB

This is a family oriented group that meets twice a month to work on a craft that will be donated back to a local organization. Our mission is to create a love of volunteerism with children at an early age and teach them what it means to help others. Read more…
