STAY POSITIVE: BLOG BY MS. Y
Confession: I am weak of spirit after 8 p.m. and require chocolate-daily.
Scenario: It is 8 p.m. and the outdoor temperatures in Indy are hovering around 6 degrees Fehrehite. I am not much of a TV watcher, but the severity and the unknown duration of the 2013-14 winter have forced myself inside on the sofa with the remote in-hand. I am proud to say I am now Netflix-savy and have become the living definition of a ‘binge watcher’.

Struggle with ‘the dreaded mat’: Blog by Ms. Y
On ward… Continuing with my new year-new me regimen.
Through wind, sleet, snow and slush, school delays, cancellations and sub zero temps, I continue my quest! UGH! Trainer Elsa says meeting with her a half hour 2 times per week will:
- Keep me (Yevanda) on track and honest with my fitness goals (toning, moderate weight loss, increased abilities, vary classes)
- Input (much needed) strength training into my exercise routine (consisting soley of cardio, lol)
- Teach simple, but effective stretching exercises to help relax the muscles, increase flexibility, and activate muscles to reduce risk of injury.
(I think, “this sounds easy enough, I can put up with anything for an hour a week”) Read more…
