Join us in this week long challenge, encouraging you to obtain 150 minutes of physical activity!

Pick up a log sheet today at the front dest or wellness desk and start logging your activity during the week of September 22-28. Those who reach 150 minutes of activity will receive a prize (while supplies last).

WOMEN AND WEIGHTS

Women, this is a new class just for you!

Learn the fundamentals of free-weight lifting and gain confidence to exercise in the Wellness Center on your own. This is a great class for beginners with little to no free-weight experience. This class is created by women for women! Read more…

NEW TEEN STRENGTH TRAINING CLASS

We have a NEW Teen Strength Training Class for ages 14-18 years. A certified personal trainer will instruct and supervise the class to ensure teens are using proper form and technique. This class is on Thursdays from 4-4:45pm in the Wellness Center starting September 11. Contact Laura Bates at 610-3762 for additional information.

FREE COMMUNITY WALK

Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 9 – 10 a.m.

Join us for a fun morning walk on the Monon. Anyone is welcome, as this is a FREE event to the community, so bring your friends and family!

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

School is here! Register now for the 2014-2015 After School Program at the Jordan Y! This program starts when school is out until 6 p.m. We also offer special Fall and Winter Break Camps. Contact 317.577.2070 for more information and to register.

Have you ever wondered how many calories your body needs each day? Based on your results from the BodyGem Indirect Calorimeter, our YMCA Registered Dietitian can accurately determine a daily caloric range.

This non-invasive test only takes 10 minutes and will be followed by 45 minutes of nutrition education to help you reach your individual goal.
