Fall Service Trip to NYC

Do you want to do something different to give back this year? The Intercollegiate YMCA will be taking a Fall Service Trip to New York City to help rebuild houses from Hurricane Sandy, which hit NY in 2012. We will be working with an organization called Friends of Rockaway, which is a community based non-profit that is dedicated to rebuilding homes for Sandy survivors who cannot afford to rebuild on their own. Volunteers will leave on November 20th and will return on November 25th, which gives you plenty of time to spend time with family for a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration! The cost is $500 per person and includes all travel, room, and most meal expenses. The trip is open to anyone above the age of 16 (due to the construction nature of this trip) and you do not have to be a Y member to help out!
