YCMA Diabetes Prevention Program

You can take charge of your health and potentially reduce your risk for chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease. The YCMA Diabetes Prevention Program provides community-based classes to help you lose a modest amount of weight and increase your physical activity to help prevent your risk for chronic disease. Dance the Night Away with Your Girls!

Join us for a night of music, dancing and fun at our annual My Girl dance on Friday, February 6 from 6-8pm. Our theme this year is “Frozen in Time”.

We will have a dance lesson, refreshments, as well as a photographer to capture your special night.

School’s Out Camps

Schools are out and the Y is in! We will be offering Spring Break camps beginning March 26. Camps will include arts and crafts, science experiments, cooking projects, physical activity, character development, service learning, and more!

Here is the registration form that needs to be filled out before your child can attend. Also check out the School’s Out Camp Brochure for information on the camps.

New in Sports!

2015 Winter Indoor Soccer League begins February 5. This co-ed, non-competitive soccer league at the YMCA is an excellent indoor follow-up to our Indoor Soccer Clinic. This league runs for 7 weeks. All practices and games are on Thursday evenings. All teams require a volunteer coach and are prepared with a comprehensive e-learning training course. Uniforms and awards are included. Early Bird Registration is available through January 29.

PeeWee Indoor Soccer Clinic will introduce the basics of soccer in four weeks! This clinic will prepare your preschooler for our Spring Soccer League. This clinic beings February 3.

The Quickstart Team Tennis Clinic will help kids to learn the game of tennis. The format uses games to assist with the learning approach. Court size, ball type and net height are adjusted to aid the learning process. Learn the game in a fun atmosphere and in more of a game approach. Clinics will be offered in 4 lesson sessions monthly throughout the winter spring.

Preschool Enrichment Program

Join our new “Growing Minds” Program!  For ages 2-5 and 6-10!

Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:30 pm (ages 2-5)
Monday-Friday 4:30pm-8:30 pm (ages 2-10)

You can choose from 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x/week options!

Where:  The Benjamin Harrison YMCA (back of Child Watch)
Fees:    Fees cover the entire 8 week session
