Ben Elo Memorial Soccer Camp

Add something new to your yoga workout

Looking to change up your workout?  Register at the front desk for PiYo!  This blend of Pilates and Yoga will strengthen your body while promoting mindfulness and relaxation.  Class runs April 14th-May5th on Mondays 10:20-10:50 AM.  Cost is $14 for members.

Revamp lunch and dinner with our new Meal Planning Class

Need help learning how to eat healthier as a family?  Want to learn how to plan your meals so that you’re not depending on unhealthy fast food to get you through the week?  We have the class for you!  Meal Planning with Stephanie Martin starts April 14th.  Class meets Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 PM.  Class lasts 4 weeks, and the cost is $51 for members.

Zumba for kids!

Get your kids active with Zumba!  Classes for 4-6 year olds and 7-11 year olds begin March 31st!  Weekday and weekend options are available.  For more information, please contact Sandy Zimmerman at


Have you joined us for Coffee Talk yet?  If not, you should!  We provide the healthy snacks, coffee, and hot tea.  You provide the good conversation!  This monthly get-together for seniors is held the third Thursday of every month.  Join us this month on April 17th 10:45-11:30am in the Meeting Room upstairs!


Can’t think of something new to make for dinner tonight?  But you’re trying to think of something healthy for the whole family?  How about Boston Market?  The third Thursday of each month is Baxter YMCA Night at the Boston Market!  Find something healthy for each member of the family, tell them you are with the YMCA when you pay, and a percentage of your purchase will benefit our 2014 Annual Campaign!


Watch for the following youth sports classes to start this April: 

  • 4/16-Cheerleading class (ages 5-12)
  • 4/16-Jump Rope class (ages 7-14)
  • 4/18-Dance class
  • 4/14-Martial Arts
  • 4/14-Gymnastics (Tumbling Tots, Tumbling I, and Tumbling II)

Parents of 2-4 year olds!  It is time to hit the court/field for 45 minutes of fun and a bit of exercise too!  Help your little one learn how to play:
