Halloween at the Y is coming…are you ready?
Join us for an evening of family-friendly spooky fun including: a haunted house, costume contest, crafts, snacks, bounces houses, hayrides and much more. Also we will have a special show from Silly Safaris. For members, cost is $15/family (2 adult max) or $5/person. Guests, or non-members, are welcome to attend for $7/person. Children ages 2 and under are free. Bring a canned food item to donate to our YMCA Giving Tree families in need and receive $1 off your ticket! Visit our Facebook Events page (Arthur R. The kids NEED a night out!…and so do you!
Forget finding a babysitter! We’ve lined up the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month with activities, fun and lots of peer-interaction. From 5 to 10 pm, you can drop the kids off while you get quality alone time. OR join register your teen for Youth Night and let us sway him or her away from video games for the night. We’re here for teens ages 11 and up the 2nd Saturday of the month from 7 to 10 pm.
Here’s the line-up for October:
Kid’s Night Out: October 10 and 24 from 5 to 10 pm
Cost is $23 for the first child and $10 for each additional child in your family. Guests (non-members) are $31/$15.
Youth Night: October 10 from 7 to 10 pm.
Cost is $5 for dinner.
We’re making soccer year-round!
Soccer is now a winter sport at the Baxter YMCA! Join us for our indoor soccer league beginning November 14.

Fall Break Swim Lessons
Is your child signed up for Fall Break School’s Out Camp, or just need a an extra swimming safety lesson while school is out? Fall Break Swim lessons are the perfect fit! You can choose to come one week or both. Classes take place Monday through Thursday from 4 – 4:45 pm in the Indoor Pool. Cost is $26 for members and $51 for guests.

Youth and Government: where YOU make the rules!
Looking for a real-life experience? Join us for Youth and Government. Teens ages 11 and up will meet to learn the legal process, write bills and end the program with a conference at the State House! Program begins October 6, so grab a friend and register today!
Where else can you find Synchronized Swimming?
Let our Synchronized Swimming Coach help to develop body control, agility, breath control and endurance, while teaching you to swim with others to music. Classes take place on Monday evenings from 5:15 to 6:15 pm. For more information on the next available session please visit our Member Services Desk. This class is designed for children ages 6-17.
Synergy Classes to Accomodate the Preschool Parent
You’re doing something good for your child, now do something good for yourself! Get fit while your little one is in school! We’ve added several morning classes to the Synergy schedule to accommodate our preschool parents! Drop your child off, head to Synergy, get in a great workout, and be finished in time to pick your child up from school! Register at the front desk today! A new session begins each month.
