Multipurpose Room B (the exercise room with the hardwood floor) is getting sanded down and refinished on Sunday, August 23 and will be closed until Thursday, August 27. This means that SOME classes that take place in MRB on Aug 23-26 will be cancelled, others will take place OUTSIDE! For a complete list of those classes and locations, please click here. We apologize for the inconvenience, but promise that you’ll love the results!
Enrichment Classes cook up the right combination of fun and learning!
If you’re looking for a little something extra for your preschooler, consider registering for Sensational Science or Creative Cooking. In Sensational Science, Children’s curiosity will be nurtured by exploring and discovering scientific methods, performing experiments, and drawing conclusions about the different areas of science. The Creative Cooking class will teach your child how to cook easy-to-prepare foods for the family. New recipes each week table manners and etiquette will be discussed. Classes meet once a week after morning preschool classes from 11:40 am – 12:10 pm.
We’re improving your experience
Our Indoor Pool has hosted many swim lesson sessions, lap swims, water exercise classes and open swim times over the past year. To keep it in tip-top shape, we complete an annual maintenance on the pool each August. This year, we are giving it a little extra attention and shutting it down for the entire month from August 1 – 31. While we understand this is inconvenient for many of our members, we hope that you will find the end result to be worth-while. Please consider visiting our Outdoor Pool during that time.

Thank you for your patience during this time! If you have any questions or concerns, please call 317.881.9347.
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA
In 2008, the YMCA of the USA partnered with LIVESTRONG® to help cancer survivors begin the journey toward recovery with the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program. Part of the Y’s commitment to strengthening community through healthy living, the program offers adults affected by cancer a safe, supportive environment to participate in physical and social activities focused on strengthening the whole person-not the disease. The free, 12–week program meets twice a week for 90 minutes, using traditional exercise methods to ease survivors back into fitness and help maintain a healthy weight. Read more…
