Are you a current preschool member? It’s that time of year. Get an early jump on your child’s education! Sign up for Preschool at the Baxter YMCA. We have classes for ages 2-5 years old. We offer 1/2 hour classes filled with fun, crafts, gym, special events, and lots of peer interaction. Morning and afternoon classes are available.
- The first five families who are currently enrolled to register for the ‘16/’17 school year will receive a FREE credit for Kid’s Night Out. All others who register through March 4 will be entered to win a Preschool Enrichment class credit.
- New students who register March 7-11 will be entered to win a $25 program credit.
Summer Camp registration begins February 20!
It is hard to believe it, but Summer Day Camp 2016 is right around the corner! Registration opens February 20. For more information, visit www.indymca.org/youthdevelopment.
FREE Synergy Demos coming in February!
Become a better leader!
Toastmasters International will be hosting a FREE Youth Leadership Program to local students ages 13-18. This program will give you the tools to help you take charge. You will learn how to:
- conduct effective meetings
- listen, critique, and offer helpful advice
- prepare and present speeches
- participate in and lead group discussions
Youth Leadership will meet for 8 weeks on Tuesdays from 4 – 5 pm at the Baxter YMCA. This program runs February 23-March 15 and April 5-26. Register online by clicking here. Search for “Youth Leadership Program.” Hurry! Space is limited to the first 25 participants.

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA
In 2008, the YMCA of the USA partnered with LIVESTRONG® to help cancer survivors begin the journey toward recovery with the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program. Part of the Y’s commitment to strengthening community through healthy living, the program offers adults affected by cancer a safe, supportive environment to participate in physical and social activities focused on strengthening the whole person-not the disease. The free, 12–week program meets twice a week for 90 minutes, using traditional exercise methods to ease survivors back into fitness and help maintain a healthy weight. Read more…
